We only use 100% Hungarian goose down, no feathers whatsoever. If you’ve ever had a duvet where little quills poke through, you’ll appreciate how soft and smooth this one feels. Hungarian down is some of the best on the market – the clusters of fluffy down are bigger, so you get amazing loft and warmth without any extra weight. The fill power is 750, which means it traps heat brilliantly but still breathes well enough to stop you overheating in milder weather.
The casing is 400 thread count down-proof cotton, which eliminates any crackle noise. This all seasons 18 tog duvet is finished with a neatly double-stitched piped edging – keeping all the down in place where it should be. Being naturally breathable, it helps keep your temperature steady all night, whether it’s freezing outside or just a bit stuffy.
Best of all, this is a clever combination system: two separate natural Hungarian down duvets (one lighter, one heavier) that join together snugly — or you can use them on their own. Effectively 3 duvets in one. Pop the lightest tog on for summer, the heavier one for spring/autumn, and join them up for proper winter warmth. No more faffing with swapping duvets twice a year. Care Information For Hungarian Duvets
You can expect your Hungarian duvet to last a life time. Regularly air your duvet. When new, it should be aired for 24 hours before use. This ensures maximum warmth and helps warm air to flow inside it. Shake it from time to time to fill it with air.
Designed to be washed at 30°C in home or commercial washing machines. Line dry your Hungarian duvet then finish in a dryer at on low heat setting. Make sure your Hungarian duvet is 100% dry before you put it back on your bed. Failing to fully dry your Hungarian duvet can result in the 100% down fill clumping together which could compromise the performance of your duvet.
