Care Instructions
Your hungarian 18 tog duvet is designed to last for many years with proper care.
- Air regularly — ideally every few weeks.
- When new, air for 24 hours before first use to allow full lofting.
- Shake occasionally to redistribute the down.
- Machine washable at 30–40°C (gentle cycle).
- Use mild detergent — no fabric softener or bleach.
- Tumble dry on low heat with dryer balls to help fluff the down.
- Ensure the duvet is 100% dry before use to prevent clumping.
- Store in the breathable bag provided in a cool, dry place.
How often should you wash a down duvet?
We recommend washing your down duvet only every 3 to 5 years. Washing too often can remove the natural oils from the down and reduce its loft over time.
