With proper care, your all season Canadian goose down duvet should last for at least 10 years. Be sure to air it regularly. When the duvet is new, allow it to air for 24 hours before first use. This helps it reach maximum loft and improves the circulation of warm air. Give it an occasional shake to keep it filled with air.
It’s advisable to wash the duvet in either a home or commercial washing machine at 30°C. Use a mild detergent and avoid fabric conditioner. After washing, line-dry your duvet, then finish drying it in a tumble dryer on a low-heat setting. Make certain it is absolutely dry before placing it back on your bed. If any moisture remains, the down fill might clump, reducing the duvet’s performance.
