Daily & Regular Maintenance
Air your goose down duvet regularly to keep it fresh and fluffy. When new, hang it outdoors or in a well-ventilated space for at least 24 hours before first use—this allows it to fully loft and maximize its gentle, breathable warmth. Give it a good shake every few days (or weekly) to redistribute the down clusters and introduce fresh air, helping maintain that cloud-like feel.
Washing Instructions
Your duvet is designed for gentle home or professional washing at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Use a large-capacity front-loading machine if possible, mild non-bio detergent (down-specific if available), and avoid fabric softeners or bleach. Wash sparingly—every 1–2 years is usually sufficient with a protective duvet cover.
Drying Tips
Line dry initially in a shaded, breezy spot, then finish in a tumble dryer on low heat (around 30°C) for best results. Add clean tennis balls to help break up any clumps and restore loft. Ensure the duvet is completely dry before remaking the bed—any residual moisture can cause the pure down fill to clump, reducing insulation and breathability over time.
Storage Advice
Always store your freshly cleaned and fully dry goose down duvet in the breathable cotton storage bag provided. Keep it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated cupboard away from direct sunlight or damp areas. Never use plastic bags, as they trap moisture and encourage mildew.
